Product Report

The Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar is an interesting piece of equipment for getting fit. Pull-ups have long been used as a fantastic measure of upper body fitness. A pull-up is about as good as it gets when it comes to testing how strong your upper body is because it is measuring your strength relative to body weight. There are many very strong people who weigh too much to really be able to manage a pull-up.

The other thing that makes pullups great is that they don’t require expensive equipment. In fact, they require a bar and that’s about it. Take that overpriced Total Gym. The Iron Gym now makes it even easier. With the Iron Gym you only need a  doorway to place the device and you’re golden. It’s so simple to use I’m surprised that it took so long to be invented really.

Feedback & Overview
Actual Customer Feedback:

"The Iron Gym is a great chin-up bar; it works exactly as advertised." -Helper Monkey on Amazon.com

"Overall, it does was it claims and feels like a pretty good piece of equipment. After a week of regular use it remains solid and hasn't done any damage to the door or wall." -B. Roberts on Amazon.com

"I bought this for my Husband for Christmas. I have been trying to get him to do some form of exercise for years, and He actually uses this!" -trixi on Amazon.com

From everything I've read, it seems that people were a bit skeptical about the build quality of the device, but that it actually does what it is designed to do and does it pretty well. Putting it together takes about five minutes and you're ready to roll. If you're looking for a cheap piece of equipment to help you stay in shape, the Iron Gym seems like a good way to go. The only problem I see with it is if you aren't srong enough to do pull-ups this device won't do you a whole lot of good and you might be better off with resistance bands until you get in good enough shape to do a pull-up.
